Let's preserve our cultural heritage as we progress in the future.
Join me in the effort to ensure St. Helena remains a vibrant place to live, where our community thrives, local businesses flourish, and our natural beauty is preserved for future generations.
Dear Neighbors,
I am excited to be running for a seat on St. Helena’s City Council. I am up for the challenge of addressing our town’s urgent issues (finance and water) and collaborating with residents and stakeholders to develop and implement a long-term vision for a strong, thriving community.
St. Helena is a great place to live. My family and I enjoy hiking and biking the scenic trails, participating in local activities and events, and taking advantage of the wonderful dining options town has to offer. I believe we need to honor and protect our community's rich culture and traditions while driving forward with innovative policies and sustainable practices. My goal is to ensure we cherish our past and unique set of assets as we embrace future opportunities, fostering economic growth, social advancement, and environmental stewardship for a thriving, balanced community.
I am strong in reading voluminous (internal and external) reports, researching issues, and asking tough questions. I am fully prepared to make difficult decisions. I value listening, learning, collaborating, and getting things done.
I hope you’ll take a moment to view my background and the “platform” I’ve put forth, share your thoughts, and pop by to meet me at my “office hours” around town.
Sincerely,
Michelle Deasy
